Riccardo Mazzucchelli, 54, filed a libel lawsuit against his estranged wife, Ivana Trump, 48, and her ex-husband Donald Trump, 51, on July 29 in London, claiming that they damaged his reputation by calling him a gold digger in the press. Ivana filed suit against Mazzucchelli on July 8 charging that he violated the terms of their prenuptial agreement by telling a tabloid that he initiated their breakup. Mazzucchelli filed for divorce 10 days later....
A Manhattan judge ruled on Aug. 4 that Minni, 9, the mutt once owned by the late tobacco heiress Doris Duke, is entitled to the $100,000 trust fund that Duke willed to the dog when she died in 1993. The caretakers of Duke's former residence, Mariano DeVelasco and Ann Bostisch, who look after Minni, now will be able to charge the trust for pet food, veterinary bills and labor.
Singer Sheena Easton, 38, wed documentary director Timothy Delarm, 35, on July 28 in Las Vegas. It is the third marriage for Easton, the first for Delarm.
Dallas Cowboys coach Barry Switzer, 59, was arrested on Aug. 4 after a loaded, unlicensed .38-cal-iber revolver was found in his carry-on bag at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. Switzer says that he hid the gun in the bag to conceal it from visiting children and forgot to remove it later.
