On the style frontier, the Force is with Harrison Ford. He made vests look cool in the Star Wars trilogy, started a run on fedoras as Indiana Jones and showed just how sexy a suit can be in this summer's Air Force One. Offscreen, his look has been both casual and effortlessly elegant. "It's amazing," says MTV's Kennedy. "In every single picture, he looks awesome." The 55-year-old actor manages it, says designer Kate Spade, by eschewing trends. "He isn't concerned with the fashion world," she says. "He's found his look and is sticking with it." And if that's not exactly cutting-edge, well, who's complaining? As costume designer Deena Appel points out, this way, "he doesn't have to regret those photos from the '80s."
