Bard core: All the world—or at least a small part of Rome—was a stage for Kevin Kline while filming a movie adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream, performed in turn-of-the-century costume. Kline, as Bottom, costars with Michelle Pfeiffer, Rupert Everett and Calista Flockhart in the film, due next year.

Revelers included Jon Seda (below), fervently strumming air, and costar Richard Belzer (right), who lavished attention, and mustard, on a wiener. Kyle Secor (above, with a partygoer) created the evening's biggest buzz with his newly shaved head. "It's like an emancipation proclamation," says Secor of the trim. Seda was moved: "I love you, man! I love the haircut!"

New York-accented actresses Debi Mazar (left) and Rosie Perez wore their absolutely fabulous attitudes well at Giorgio Armani's Emporio-collection show in Manhattan. Says Mazar: "It was a real New York moment."
