Take a sling blade to those wacky duds, Billy Bob. Actor-writer-director Thornton, 43, makes bizarre fashion choices—from sharkskin suits to biker black to rocker ragged—that trouble the judges. "He dresses pretty badly," says designer Marc Bouwer. "Everything about his wardrobe is just wrong." But he's not solely to blame. The six-foot-tall Thornton, who says his main style influence is Elvis and proudly rotates his 100-plus baseball caps to match his outfits, has relied on girlfriend Laura Dern for guidance. She "picked out some Gucci suits—they're like Dean Martin suits with really straight legs, like in the '60s," he told INSTYLE last year. Window dresser Simon Doonan sees "some groovy potential" and thinks he can do better: "We'd make him look incredible. Come into Barneys anytime!"
