Monheit—who may remind you of Carly Simon or Rosemary Clooney—is artfully backed by pianist Kenny Barron, bassist Ron Carter, drummer Lewis Nash, sax men Fathead Newman and Hank Crawford and guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli.
