Britney Spears, in Hollywood, was obviously tickled pink by the 6-million-plus sales of her latest album, Oops...I Did It Again, as she worked in a round of shopping during a break from her 52-city tour.

Look who's talking: Jenna Elfman rubbed shoulders with Kelly Preston and husband John Travolta in L.A., where the trio, all Scientologists, celebrated a photo exhibit chronicling the life of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.

Days after Brad Pitt tied the knot, the former would-be Mrs. Pitt, Gwyneth Paltrow, joined on-again, off-again boyfriend Ben Affleck for a Java jolt and some conversation in L.A. The couple are falling in love again—on movie screens, at least—in the romantic drama Bounce, slated to open Oct. 13.

In L.A., Jim Carrey braced himself (he told the audience he was "all broken out" from meeting 'N Sync) for the Teen Choice Awards, airing Aug. 22 on FOX.

Still smiling after his Wimbledon victory last month, Pete Sampras took a service break for a quick bite in Toronto with his fiancée, actress Bridgette Wilson.

Clint Eastwood kissed up to daughter Francesca, 7 (Mom is actress Frances Fisher), at the L.A. premiere of Space Cowboys, his latest acting-directing effort.

Even newlyweds have to earn a living: A week after her wedding it was back to work for Jennifer Aniston, who stocked up on fluids in L.A. before heading to the set for Friends' seventh season, which premieres in October.

Ah, the slings and arrows of celebrity misfortune! Rosie O'Donnell, who cut tendons in her finger while removing the price tag from a fishing pole, had plenty to shout about in Miami Beach. Her talk show's fifth season kicks off Sept. 5.

Also sidelined, Sharon Stone (who had shoulder surgery to mend a tendon torn years ago in a car accident) got the once-over from a camel at an L.A. benefit for Planet Hope, her sister Kelly's charity for homeless kids.

Jockey Julie Krone got a boost in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., from the Racing Hall of Fame, which made her its first woman inductee. "Life doesn't get any better," said the 4'11" equestrienne.

You're wearing that? Long-feuding sisters Princesses Caroline (left) and Stephanie greeted each other for the cameras at the annual Red Cross Ball in Monaco but then retreated to separate tables, where they stayed for the rest of the evening.

Stroller derby: Sylvester Stallone and wife Jennifer Flavin took daughters Sophia, 3 (left), and Sistine, 2, for a spin in Toronto, where Stallone is enjoying plenty of time behind the wheel while shooting Champs, about a fading race-car driver returning to the circuit after a car wreck.
