Isaac Hanson, the oldest member of the brother band Hanson, was hospitalized in Texas with a pulmonary embolism, his rep said Wednesday.
Hanson, 26, was admitted to Baylor University Medical Center after suffering severe shoulder and chest pains after a Tuesday night show in Dallas, says rep Ken Phillips.
"He underwent several tests throughout the night and has been diagnosed with pulmonary embolism" – a clot in a blood vessel, says Phillips. "Isaac is currently undergoing treatment and will be re-evaluated shortly by doctors."
After his hospitalization, first reported by the Tulsa World, the band's show in Tulsa, Okla., was canceled.
In April, Hanson became a first-time dad. He and wife Nicole welcomed son Clarke Everett in Tulsa.
Hanson and the former Nicole Dufresne, 22, wed last year.
