About the time they celebrate their first wedding anniversary in March, country crooner Vince Gill, 43, and pop singer Amy Grant, 39, will be humming her hit song "Baby, Baby" to their own little one. Gill has one daughter from his previous marriage; Grant, one son and two daughters from hers.

Ailing
Actor John Henton, 39, who plays Milsap Morris on UPN's The Hugh-leys, was hospitalized in L.A. with multiple fractures and massive facial injuries after he crashed his car into a concrete wall on Sept. 15. Police are investigating whether alcohol might have played a role in the accident.

Actor Ed Begley Jr., 51, who has a recurring role on the WB's 7th Heaven, secretly married actress Rachelle Carson, 40, on Aug. 23 in Las Vegas. His first marriage ended in divorce in 1989.

Actor Enrico Colantino, 37, who plays the staff photographer for the fictional Blush magazine of NBC's Just Shoot Me, and his wife Nancy, 39, a nutritionist, welcomed their second child, Madelyn Francesca (7 lbs. 10 oz.), on Sept. 26 in L.A. Big brother Quintin is 3.

Law and Order
This week prosecutors in Hawaii will officially charge Whitney Houston, 37, with "promoting a detrimental drug in the third degree"—a petty misdemeanor punishable by up to 30 days in jail or six months' probation and a $1,000 fine. In January officials at Keahole-Kona International Airport allegedly found 15.2 grams of marijuana in Houston's handbag. The arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 26. The songbird's attorney Brook Hart refused to comment.

Deaths
Nationally syndicated columnist Carl T. Rowan, who also served as U.S. ambassador to Finland during the Kennedy Administration, died on Sept. 23 in Washington, D.C., of various ailments. He was 75.

Behind Bars
On Sept. 21 a California judge sentenced Airwolf actor Jan-Michael Vincent, 55, to 60 days in jail for violating the terms of his probation, imposed after a drunk-driving crash in 1996.

Back Home

After more than three months of medical care in Minnesota, the Rev. Billy Graham, 81, returned to his home in Mon-treat, N.C., on Sept. 18. Graham spent much of that time at the Mayo Clinic for treatment of fluid around the brain and Parkinson's disease. His wife of 57 years, Ruth, 80, is recovering from several hip-replacement surgeries....

Perry Como, 88, recently left a hospital in Jupiter, Fla., after a four-day stay. The singer had been complaining of lightheadedness and shortness of breath.

In Treatment
Mega-bestselling author Dominick Dunne (The Two Mrs. Grenvilles), 74, was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. "I'm on the hormones and I'm going to do the radiation seeds," Dunne explained to New York's Daily News. "I'm sure I'm going to be fine."
