"He has no idea the devastation he causes as he walks through the set," says Robert Luketic, who directed Luke Wilson in last year's Legally Blonde. "I had to get these people back to work. I'm like, 'He's taken!' He's always dating somebody lovely." Those lovelies have included past costars Drew Barrymore (Home Fries) and, most recently, Gwyneth Paltrow (The Royal Tenenbaums), but these days Wilson, 30, is a self-anointed "bachelor," who is content to kick back in the L.A. home he shares with his chocolate Lab Ted and mutt Brother or go on 4-mile beach runs. "Sometimes right after I've had some coffee, I'll get a little jangled and make myself jog," says the 6-ft. Texas-born actor, who doesn't seem the lady-killer type. "He's quiet and kind of shy but very much a gentleman," says Charlie's Angels costar Cameron Diaz. "I think he's very comfortable with himself." He sure dresses for comfort—jeans and khakis—probably a holdover from years of inheriting hand-me-downs from his brothers, actor Andrew, 37, and actor/screenwriter Owen, 33 (who cowrote and appeared in Tenenbaums). For now, Wilson uses only sunscreen and moisturizer but wouldn't mind a little extra pampering. "I've got the time," he says. "I just don't have the masseuse!"
