Whether they prefer contemporary creations or romantic vintage pieces "people want sparkle," says L.A. jeweler Neil Lane. "Some want low-key sparkle and others want high-maintenance sparkle." Either way, he says, "just do it with style and grace." So Santa, how about bringing a lump of this coal down the chimney?
