Picks and Pans Review: Dixie Chicks Home

UPDATED 12/30/2002 at 01:00 AM EST Originally published 12/30/2002 at 01:00 AM EST

Following up their 10-million-selling Fly, the Chicks continue to soar by coloring their third album with true blue-grass, highlighted by Martie Maguire's fiddle, Emily Robison's banjo and Natalie Maines's twangy lead vocals. They're still sounding ingratiatingly lively, picking their material shrewdly and having sheer fun. A Home run. (Open Wide/Monument/Columbia)
