The Remnant
There is plenty of action in the tenth novel in the Left Behind series dealing with the fate of humans awaiting the Second Coming; who can't get interested in a narrative that features seas turning to blood and citizens finding themselves tagged by the mark of the Beast? The problem is that talky, interchangeable heroes, a B-movie antichrist for a villain and far too many just-in-the-nick-of-time guest appearances by saving angels make this less like Revelation than a book of Bible Studies for Dummies.
