Tree of a kind: Michael Douglas and the missus, a 6-months-pregnant Catherine Zeta-Jones, cuddled their son Dylan, 2, in Bermuda, where Douglas's mother, Diana Darrid, wed ex-Treasury chief Donald Webster Dec. 28. In lieu of a gift, the trio later planted a tree near Darrid's Bermuda home (below). A Douglas fir, perhaps?

Venice match: Charlize Theron and Mark Wahlberg snuggled aboard a gondola while filming a scene in Venice for The Italian Job, a remake of the 1969 caper comedy, due May 30.

A corn-rowed Oprah Winfrey put her heart—and sole—into singing "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes" with Ladysmith Black Mambazo at Nelson Mandela's holiday bash in Qunu, South Africa, which drew 20,000 people.

At the Manhattan premiere of Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, first-time director George Clooney reunited with the film's star Sam Rockwell. "I'll be in the back of the theater drinking and crying," Clooney told the audience.

Silver belle: In Manhattan, The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti didn't miss a beat assisting his sweetie Drew Barrymore during a shopping spree at Barneys New York. The actress recently wrapped Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, due this summer.

The good-buy girl: Browsing for bargains in L.A., Winona Ryder obviously hasn't lost her foothold in shoe biz since her conviction for shoplifting.

Since she played Hepburn to a tee in a 2000 TV movie (and will star in Why Can't I Be Audrey Hepburn?), Jennifer Love Hewitt kept up appearances while shopping in L.A.

Rapt star: 007's best girl Halle Berry bonded with her husband, R&B singer Eric Benét, in L.A. "We're very much united," Berry recently told USA Today, alluding to their marital woes. "We are in this thing for the long haul."

Scavenger stunt: Julia Louis-Dreyfus scrounged for spare change while filming a bank ad in New York City. Her TV show, Watching Ellie, returns in March.

Waiter, there's a Guy in my soup! Rocco Ritchie, 2, had a close crawl while dining with dad, Guy Ritchie, at the Kings Road Cafe in L.A. The Swept Away director begins filming Knights of Malta, a drama, this summer.

No doubt keeping a dry sense of humor, cap-tivat-ed dad Jerry Seinfeld indulged in a little towel play with daughter Sascha, 2, on a Barbados vacation. The comedian and his wife, Jessica, are expecting their second baby in March.

Ford excursion: Action hero Harrison Ford got a grip on his main squeeze, Calista Flockhart, as the duo acted casual in Brentwood, Calif. Ford's next exploit, Hollywood Homicide, is due this June.

Diva-ed and conquer: Britney Spears and Liza Minnelli did their bit to close the generation gap at KTU's Miracle on 34th Street 2002, a concert at Madison Square Garden. Spears hosted the starry event; Minnelli joined Ray Charles in a duet of "Georgia on My Mind."
