A single rose is romantic, sweet and often unexpected. A single item of rosy clothing—from dusty pink to brilliant begonia—can be equally beguiling. Pink pants have popped up in Natalie Portman's wardrobe, Melanie Griffith added a splash of dusky rose with a fur duster, and models Eugenia Silva and Josie Maran opted for head or toe blush, but not both. The idea is just a dash of color. "Pink in spring is so obvious," says Brooke Dulien, Kelly Osbourne's stylist. "But a girl who accents her winter clothing with a hint of pink will have an outfit that's classic, approachable, flirtatious and will leave a lasting impression." That's some indelible pink.

Chicago's Renée Zellweger lost no time pairing a '50s-inspired Carolina Herrera gown and sleek silver sandals for the film's New York City premiere. "I had 20 minutes to get here," she says, "so I ran home, put on a dress and lipstick." So much for all that jazz about celebs always needing hours to get gorgeous.
DELUXE DOGGIE BAG: It was a merry Christmas indeed, if you happened to be an Osbourne pet. Just before the holidays, Sharon Osbourne slipped into Bergdorf Goodman in New York City and snapped up a chichi Cece Cord travel dog bowl. The pricey pooch cadeau didn't come with a year's supply of kibbles, but it was accessorized with crocodile-skin handles. Übershopper Osbourne was one of the last to get the now sold-out bowls—then ordered one for pal Adam Sandler from the next shipment....
Pampered pooches lap luxury and water from $625 bowls.
POPPA- AND MOMMA-GRAMMED CUFFS: The latest accessory fad in Hollywood is leather $75 name bracelets customized with the monikers of celeb offspring. Designed by Dillon Rogers and sold at L.A.'s trendy Kitson Boutique, the wrist adornments have been scooped up by proud parents like Cindy Crawford, who sports a band bearing the names of her tykes Presley and Kaia; Lenny Kravitz, who gives a shout out to daughter Zoë; and Reese Witherspoon, paying homage to her toddler Ava....
GOOD DEEDS IN STORE: Philadelphia native Eve hit her hometown on Dec. 14 as guest of honor at the opening of a new Kiehl's store. But she wasn't there to pick up cucumber toner. In true holiday spirit she was supporting her pet charity and the party's beneficiary—the Mary Jane Home Enrichment Center, which aids North Philadelphia's homeless. The folks at Kiehl's got into the spirit too, donating $5,000 to the cause.
Chain Gang Reaction
From country to hip-hop, singers are grooving on '80s rock-chic chain belts. "They're a big trend right now," says designer Marc Bouwer, who shackled Shania Twain in several custom-made designs. "Draping and layering is what makes them fresh." To look like link lovers J.Lo and Christina Aguilera, sling them low on the hip, adds Bouwer: "It's sexy." So, are you ready to have a ball in chains?
Want to add a little power to your pucker? Then ditch those tasteful neutrals and grab a tube of something bold and beautiful-magenta, hot pink, violet. These colors of summer are "the perfect way to light up a winter day," says makeup master Vincent Longo. Now that's expert lip service.
what was she thinking?
We're used to seeing No Doubt lead singer Gwen Stefani walk on the wild side of fashion, but this time she may have gone one toe too far. Her creature-feature footwear ruins an otherwise perfectly rocking ensemble.
