Blind Spot—Hitler's Secretary In an intense documentary Traudl Junge, Adolf Hitler's personal secretary during WWII, talks about her boss's final days. Junge (who died in 2002) remorsefully wonders how she ever could have viewed such a maniac as Germany's savior. (PG)

Chicago A tuneful blast. Golden Globe victors Richard Gere and Renée Zellweger, along with Catherine Zeta-Jones, sparkle in a cynical musical that mixes murder and showbiz. (PG-13)

City of God In a dazzlingly shot Brazilian drama (in Portuguese with English subtitles), teenage gangsters kill each other willy-nilly. The excessive violence grows numbing. (R)

Kangaroo Jack The mischievous 'roo is amusing, but that's the sole reason to jump to this dull kids' film. (PG)
