Thanks for your article. Laci and Conner may be gone, but they continue to live on in the hearts of many and will never be forgotten. They are at peace together as mother and son.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Seeing the photo of Scott Peterson in front of a Christmas tree with his wife, Laci, then seeing the much more amorous picture of Scott in front of a Christmas tree with Amber Frey says plenty!

Understandably it is hard for Scott's parents to conceive of their son allegedly committing such a heinous act. In my view it is insulting to the Rocha family when the Petersons speak of how their son was such a loving husband. A loving husband doesn't cheat on his pregnant wife. A cad does.
At first I was sad, then mad, at the idea that Laci could have possibly been all right with the fact that Scott was having an affair. And then to believe for a moment this radiant woman could have committed suicide—taking both her own life and Conner's? Scott will go to trial for this crime, and let's pray justice is done.
So Scott "has the look of somebody who is overwhelmed and clearly out of his element." Laci and Conner will never have the opportunity to be overwhelmed or out of their element, thanks to Scott. I have no sympathy.
I always thought that a person was presumed innocent until proven guilty. I'm sorry, but did I miss the trial? But just because I disagree with your story doesn't mean I will stop reading your magazine.
I don't think there's a person in America who hasn't heard of and grieved for Laci, her son and family. That being said, I wish your blatant cover line, "Laci's Murder," could have been replaced with something more compassionate in remembrance of her life.
The story of Laci Peterson is one that truly touched me. I applaud PEOPLE for not just giving us the information but covering all aspects of the story.
Like many committed to a higher power, I have my periodic doubts. Reading David Bloom's final e-mail to his wife reaffirmed my faith and prompted me to call as many of my family as I could, urging them to buy this issue. I will reread it when I need spiritual awakening and cherish it forever.

My spirit was touched by this e-mail. But why would such moving words find themselves on one of the last pages of your magazine?
OAK HARBOUR, WASH.
Lil' Kim is definitely over the top with the massive number of animals she has allowed to be murdered for her wardrobe. Why she thinks draping dead animal skins over her body makes her appear as beautiful as the creatures who were killed is beyond me. Compassion is the fashion today. Fur is dead.
Nothing could be more glamorous or inspiring than for Lil'Kim to switch to imitation!

Lisa Marie Presley
As a gifted singer-songwriter, Lisa Marie Presley has entered the building to stay!
Martha Orr Miller,
I'm sorry, but if her last name wasn't Presley, there is no way Lisa Marie would have a recording deal. "Lights Out" is okay, but one song does not a CD make!
