JENNIFER CONNELLY: BLACK-AND-WHITE AND STYLISH ALL OVER

DUE: August
Hulk's sweetie, 32 (hubby is Paul Bettany), beats bulk with sleek duds from designers such as Lauren Sara. "She's ordered a lot of black tanks, tunics and skinny pants," says Sara. "She lives a very minimal life."

KATE HUDSON: BELLY-BARING HIPPIE CHIC

DUE: Early '04
The actress, 24, and her husband, musician Chris Robinson, 36, are waiting to find out the gender of their first child. But around L.A. lately, Goldie's ever-groovy girl—or her belly, at least—is already playing peekaboo.

REESE WITHERSPOON, 27 DUE: December
Ditching her old pregnancy manuals in favor of a relaxed approach, the second-time mom (at the MTV Beach House in East Quogue, N.Y., in June) needs only a daily nap and a clever costume designer on the now-filming Vanity Fair to keep her smiling.

CARRIE-ANNE MOSS: LAID-BACK MAMA

DUE: Late summer
"I welcome advice," says the first-time mom-to-be, 35, of pregnancy. But no one needed to tell the Matrix Reloaded star to ditch the skintight leather cat suit. Whether strolling in L.A. or stopping to nuzzle with actor-hubby Steven Roy, 32 (in June), Moss chooses comfort over cool.

HEATHER MILLS McCARTNEY, 35 DUE: November
Sir Paul McCartney may be 61, but he's "a modern dad," says an insider, "attending prenatal classes." Mills McCartney (in July) "is the happiest I've ever seen her," says a pal.

MOLLY SHANNON, 38 DUE: September
The little black dress is bigger—but just as perfect on the SNL alum (in May). Engaged to artist Fritz Chesnut, 30, the comedian says she'll be happy with a boy or girl. As long as the kid has a sense of humor.

Who's Next?
No baby on board for Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston yet. "We're still in rehearsals!" Pitt told Britain's GMTV July 14. "But we're heading that way. I look forward to it." Meanwhile, in a bizarre turn of events, David Arquette was quoted by GMTV as saying that he and wife Courteney Cox Arquette are coproducing not just a TV show—but a baby, due in October. "The nursery will have a disco ball in it," he said. A misunderstanding? Apparently. Their rep says they're not expecting.
