Leave it to scruffy young independent filmmakers to wander Melrose Avenue in castoffs; this TV doctor is a standard-bearer for conservative chic. "Casual. Cool. He's A-OK," pronounces Houston Astro Derek Bell. "I think he spends a lot of time on his image," says author llene Beckerman. "He's up-and-coming. Very contemporary. Very cute." Comedy Central's Jonathan Katz agrees. Describing Wyle's penchant for "harmless men's clothing," Katz says, "He's handsome and can carry it off."
