Ever since Cybill Shepherd flaunted her size 7½ EE, flaming-orange Reeboks at the 1985 Emmy Awards, footwear has been the Achilles' heel of her stepping-out wardrobe. "There's a certain point in a woman's life when she must choose between her feet and shoes," the 46-year-old actress told PEOPLE at the time. Our judges beg to disagree. "She may not want to wear heels, but she has to do something about her shoes," insists Holly Robinson Peete. Not that her above-the-ankle apparel earns much more praise. "With Cybill, it's all a little too much," says Jonathan Katz. Designer Mona May concurs: "She has some flair, but she doesn't have taste."
