With his neon hair, blue fingernails, feather boas and sequin tops, the 35-year-old Chicago Bulls forward jumps through hoops to grab our attention. As he says himself in his bestseller, Bad as I Wanna Be (which he promoted in Manhattan wearing a wedding dress), "I like to shock people." Rodman's gender-bending fashion sense confuses the judges. "I can't imagine bringing him home to Mama," says Inside Edition's Deborah Norville. "If he's going to cross-dress," offers actress Holly Robinson Peete, he should "do it with style, not just be eccentric." But the more sympathetic Comedy Central therapist Jonathan Katz, reminding us that Rodman "does make a living in a uniform," believes that he is reacting against too much order on the court.
