Dust rarely settles on actor Ashley Hamilton, 22, whose 1993 marriage to Shannen Doherty lasted only five months and who recently left NBC's daytime soap Sunset Beach after two weeks, calling it "a mutual decision." Now Hamilton tells me that his very short, very stormy marriage to Angie Everhart, 27, the actress (Jade) and model he wed Dec. 1, is also officially over. He filed for divorce in Los Angeles last week, citing those customary "irreconcilable differences." In retrospect, says Hamilton, the couple "probably made a mistake" by heading to the altar after just six months of dating. Nevertheless, he intends to walk away from the collapsed marriage "like a gentleman, wishing Angie well." Hamilton, who admits to past drug problems, says he has been free of drugs and alcohol for 18 months and has since relocated to New York City....

On the happier end of the marriage curve, jolly Good-Fella Ray Liotta announced several months ago that he would wed his live-in fiancée, actress Michelle Grace, in Thailand. The couple chose the country, Liotta said, because they'd fallen in love with Thailand when he filmed Operation Dumbo Drop there in 1994-95. Well, Liotta and Grace left as scheduled on Feb. 20, but only after thai-ing the knot five days earlier in Las Vegas. Their decision to be hitched by an Elvis impersonator at a Vegas chapel was made, according to a source, to ensure that the marriage would be valid in the United States. A second ceremony was planned in Thailand....

I'm not surprised that Téa Leoni is now confirming the naked truth that she's dating The X-Files' David Duchovny. These prime-time stars have been friends for years, but their relationship took a romantic turn in January and they haven't been shy about displaying their affection in public. Spotted at an ocean-front restaurant in Los Angeles on Feb. 17, the couple kissed and cuddled until their dinner companions arrived. So why didn't Leoni accompany her new beau to the Screen Actors Guild Awards five days later in L.A, where Duchovny lost out as best actor in a TV drama to NYPD Blue's Dennis Franz? She was out of town visiting relatives, her rep tells me....

The Nanny, CBS's popular sitcom starring Fran Drescher, used to tape in front of a live studio audience. But since Drescher separated last fall from Peter Marc Jacobson, her husband of 18 years as well as her producing partner, she has opted for a closed set to give her more freedom. Or so goes the network party line. The real story, say sources behind the scenes, is that since the breakup, Drescher is less comfortable working before an audience of strangers. It's no coincidence perhaps that when the show was taped before an audience, Jacobson often did the warm-up, routinely answering questions about their relationship....

Matt LeBlanc, who plays struggling actor Joey on Friends, is getting a new TV love interest. The lucky lady? Dina Meyer, who co-starred with Keanu Reeves in Johnny Mnemonic and will be seen in director Paul Verhoeven's upcoming sci-fi flick Starship Troopers. Meyer, playing an actress Joey meets on a job, appears in three consecutive Friends episodes, starting March 27.
