HILARY HITS 18
She can vote, get a tattoo and, yes, Hilary Duff—who's dating Good Charlotte's Joel Madden—can even get marri—"No, no—please," older sis Haylie tells us. "She's 18! We have our own house. We're not separating anytime soon." The sibs do need to make room for the booty Hilary scored Sept. 28 as she rang in her 18th at L.A. hot spot Mood with more than 300 guests, such as MTV joker Andy Milonakis and American Idol's Constantine Maroulis. "I got spoiled," says Duff. Seriously: The Moroccan-themed bash included fortune-tellers and a huge red velvet cake, and Duff received a Nouar painting from Joel's twin and bandmate Benji, a Chanel Celtic-cross necklace from Haylie and a Louis Vuitton jewelry case—and adoration—from Joel. "What keeps our relationship together is we're great friends," he says. "There's just no one better than her."

RYAN'S VOW
While Ryan Reynolds and Alanis Morissette haven't set a date, "we already feel like we're married," says Ryan. "We're living together and we had both sets of parents in [L.A.] all last week." But the actor—who plays a disgruntled waiter in Waiting—stands firm on one wedding detail: "I will treat my caterers well and tip big to avoid any tampering with the food."

CAMERON AND...JASON?
Though rumblings of a December wedding in Hawaii for Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz were shot down by Diaz's rep—"That's completely ridiculous," he says—Diaz's In Her Shoes costar Shirley MacLaine says the pair are committed. "It was darling to see that young love happening," she says. "It was interesting to see her jostling time between me and Jason." Er, you mean Justin? "Whatever! All I know is he's young, good-looking and knows about wardrobe."

METROLITAN PAVLION, N.Y.C, Sept. 27
At the Organic Elegance benefit for Beth Israel Medical Center's Continuum Center, a pregnant Christy Turlington says of Baby No. 2 with husband Ed Burns: "[Daughter Grace, 2] has been such a great joy. So only imagine it will double with a new presence in the house."
