Great Grandma would approve of these high-collared, perfectly proper Victorian-inspired pieces

TARYN MANNING in vintage at a magazine awards show in L.A.

ASHLEE SIMPSON in Jill Stuart at a TV appearance in N.Y.C.

NICOLE RICHIE in vintage at a party in L.A.

HILARY SWANK (at an N.Y.C. benefit) in a vintage top she bought in Japan.

Behind the Seams

Looks like Kirsten Dunst, in Christian Lacroix Haute Couture, made a stop in Elegantville on her way to the N.Y.C. premiere of Elizabethtown.

An ebullient Tom Cruise arrives at his 12-year-old daughter Isabella's soccer game hand-in-hand with his fiancée Katie Holmes, who's expecting Baby Cruise next year.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner stop at Starbucks for an afternoon pick-me-up. Garner is expected to give birth to their first child—a girl!—in November.

IT'S ALL GREEK TO HER: She broke up with one Greek billionaire and has been seen out with another. But Paris Hilton doesn't need a man to proclaim her status. After her recent breakup with fiancé Paris Latsis—and the start of her new friendship with Stavros Niarchos III—she visited L.A.'s Kitson boutique and bought a shirt that spells out "Greek Goddess" in rhinestones. As if there were any doubt....

BABY BLUES: While you're passing on your good genes, why not wear them too? Knocked Up, Habitual's name for its new line of maternity jeans, is a fave of expectant mom Katie Holmes. Jennifer Garner just ordered seven pairs to wear while filming Alias. And new mothers Heidi Klum and Britney Spears also sported the style, which has an adjustable under-the-belly waist, during their pregnancies....

ALL THE RIGHT DUFF: When it comes to makeup, Hilary Duff is more than just whistling Pixi—she's also stocking up. While in London to promote her new album Most Wanted, she stopped into the Soho flagship store of the cult British makeup line (Kate Hudson and Scarlett Johansson are also fans) for three eye-shadow palettes, six jewel-colored eye liners, a sheer lip gloss and a moisturizer/blush combo....

PRETTY AS HER PICTURE: We've seen supermodel Naomi Campbell in a bikini plenty of times. But on one? That's a first for us—and for Naomi, who's never lent her name (or face) to a beachwear line before. The Naomi bikini is part of the new collection she launches next month with Rosa Chá designer Amir Slama. Priced at $150 to $300, it will be available at Victoria's Secret stores.

The mother of Reinvention is getting into a whole new groove. In Manhattan to promote her album Confessions on a Dance Floor, Madonna replaced her Adidas track suits and lady-of-the-manor attire with '70s-flavored outfits, complete with a Farrah-style feathered do. The vibe is perfect for the album, which revives a disco beat, and she carries it over to the street. Just catch that strut: Looks like she's come down with a serious case of Saturday Night Fever.

Catching up with Mariah Carey at the Swarovski Fashion Rocks charity fashion event wasn't hard. Why? "It's difficult to move in my shoes, because they're a size too small for me," said the singer, who modeled and performed. "The wonderful lady who works for Donatella Versace let me wear her shoes. But I love them! Fashion is a personal choice. It's fun to dress up. But comfortable? These aren't comfortable shoes but they're fabulous. I'm most comfortable in boxer shorts and a tank top, but I don't think that would have worked on the runway!"

Selma Blair was on hand to host the recent launch party of Montblanc Jewelry in N.Y.C. And on her hand? Four stacked onyx and crystal silver bands from the Bohème Collection. The line features three different styles that range in price from $250 to $750.

If you want to copy Justin Timberlake's dance moves, you'll have to work at it. But getting his casual cool look? That's easy. At least it will be starting Nov. 1, when the singer and his partners Trace Ayala and Danny Guez debut their clothing line for men and women at select Bloomingdale's stores. Named after Timberlake's grandfather and Ayala's, "the William Rast collection is southern country club meets southern rock," says Timberlake. "Since Trace and I are both from Tennessee, we incorporated elements of the South with a couture edge."

Her boots are made for walkin'—and dancin' and just standin' around lookin' great. Jessica Simpson Footwear, available in stores nationwide Oct. 24, was inspired "by my fun Texas roots," says Simpson, who has already launched clothing and beauty lines. "The boots are sexy and comfort able and they'll become your favorite pair!"

All proceeds from the Katrina Tee go to the Red Cross, $46; available now at Bloomingdale's, 800-555-7467.
