Johnny Depp docks for his fictionalized biopic Finding Neverland, in which he plays J.M. Barrie, the author of Peter Pan. Later, Depp proved unfazed by a bomb scare and a 2:10 a.m. screening time, deadpanning, "Welcome to the breakfast club screening of Finding Neverland."
Director Spike Lee, whose comedy She Hate Me was shown at the festival, opts to glide in a gondola accompanied by his wife, Tonya, and their children, son Jackson, 7, and daughter Satchel, 9.
In the company of piers: A Pucci-clad Jada Pinkett Smith and Tom Cruise, who became fast friends while filming Collateral, pose for the cameras.
Nicole Kidman shows that polka dots float her boat as she rides a water taxi along the canals. The actress was there to publicize her new drama Birth, in which she plays a widow who believes a 10-year-old boy is the reincarnation of her late husband.
