It was husband Tim McGraw's big night at the L.A. premiere of his football film Friday Night Lights, but there was no way Faith Hill could remain on the sidelines wearing this sultry Dolce & Gabbana.
DESPERATE TO HAVE IT: Millions of viewers have tuned in to see the women on Desperate Housewives, but the show's costumer was focused on Teri Hatcher and the Tracy Zych bag she brought to the set. Thinking the argyle clutch would be perfect for Marcia Cross's überpreppy homemaker character, Bree Van De Kamp, she asked Hatcher to get three more for Cross to carry on the show. Diamonds are all kinds of girls' best friend....

SEVENTH-INNING STRETCH JEANS: Drew Barrymore sure likes the stretch skinny flare jeans she bought at American Eagle Outfitters' Boston store (along with five striped stadium polos in different colors). She bought seven in the same style and wore one of them to the Oct, 1 Toronto Blue Jays game, where she threw out the first pitch....

FLY GIRL: Until Angelina Jolie earns her pilot wings her pilot wings (the Shark Tale actress has been taking flying lessons), she'll have to be satisfied with the Mia & Kompany ,20-carat diamond-and-white-gold wing earrings her stylist bought her as a gift. Although the jeweled wings belong to a bird, not a plane, they should still be able to lift Jolie's spirits....

RING BEARER: Stella McCartney may have announced her pregnancy at her Paris fashion show, but she let pal Gwyneth Paltrow, in the front row, unveil the first piece from her new jewelry line. Paltrow wore the $25,000 platinum-and-diamond right-hand ring while she applauded McCartney's designs and later wore it to a birthday party Valentino threw for her. Unfortunately, the birthday girl couldn't keep the bauble, but it is available by special order.
Introducing...Stormie Truji
AGE: 41
CLAIM TO FAME:
Stars like Jennifer Garner, Jessica Simpson, Lenny Kravitz and Britney Spears are drawn to her spiritually inspired hand-beaded suede and leather cuffs.
Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera have found the antidote to blinding red-carpet bling—and it's made by Stormie Trujillo, a mother of three and Pueblo tribe member whose bracelets of beaded Native American symbols are soothing must-haves in Hollywood. "Stormie's work appeals to me at the most basic level," says Sarah Michelle Gellar. "Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, it speaks to my inner spiritual sense." Kate Hudson agrees—she had bracelets made for her upcoming film Skeleton Key and ordered additional pieces for herself. "Madonna wears my work in her daily life," says Trujillo, who made Madge two red-leather cuffs with glass microbeads for courage. "She's very spiritual." As is Trujillo. "The work can be tedious, but I find it calming. I meditate on a pattern and a story emerges," she explains. "Customers tell me that they gravitate toward pieces that tell some story in their own life." As for Trujillo's own life story: Homeless as a girl, she and her family slept on the beaches near L.A., where the then 12-year-old found her calling. "I picked up seashells and wood from the sand and would string them together," says Trujillo. "That's how I got started as a jewelry designer." Like the eagle on one of her latest pieces, which she named Spirit Talker, her life has since soared to higher places. "I'm happy," she says. "The spirit has answered my prayers, and I remember to always stay thankful."
