FACE REALITY
It is a huge insult to my intelligence for these women to say that they haven't had plastic surgery. Are we expected to believe that somehow they never age? If having a face-lift, boob job, nose job, tummy tuck and lips that look ready to explode any minute gives you a multimillion-dollar paycheck, then go for it. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Men too. But here's a news flash. We like you for your ability to entertain. Your looks are secondary.

You asked the most beautiful women in the world if they would have plastic surgery. They don't need it. They have the luxury of physical trainers, regular facials and treatments that most women can't afford. I think if you were to ask an average woman, she would jump at the chance for plastic surgery. As a mother of four, I know I sure would. What's stopping me? The cost.

Why on earth would you do a story on stars' opinions about cosmetic surgery and not interview women (or men) over 46? Wait until these same individuals are 55 or—God forbid—60, and let's see what they think and what they've had done then.

DEER IN THE HEADLINES
As a resident of the Shenandoah Valley, I was appalled when I read your article "Deerly Beloved." I couldn't believe the state of Virginia would execute a deer just because someone loved him enough to give him a home. Alan Bartley showed Spot compassion and friendship, and they punish both for that. I know [the state] says it's wrong to keep wild animals in captivity, but where else do they have to go? The area is growing so fast that deer have no place to live and are constantly being killed by cars and hunters. I hope the individuals who carried out this horrible deed can live with their consciences. This law needs to be changed, and I pray Alan Bartley can make a difference.

DONATING HOPE
Thank you so much for your article about the Falsey family and the wonderful sacrifices they have made. I'm a 32-year-old wife and mother who is also on the waiting list for a kidney-pancreas transplant. Unfortunately I'm adopted, so my parents and brother aren't matches. Because of this I'll have to depend on people like the Falseys, who are willing to give a part of themselves to save another human being without ever expecting anything in exchange. Such a token of unconditional care and love is what makes me believe that I will have the chance to watch my children grow into adults. On behalf of all people struggling with kidney disease, God bless you, and thank you for giving us hope.

MILITARY SNAFU
I am outraged and disgusted at what happened to the young sergeant whose identity was stolen, his money taken and his credit destroyed by Army Spc. Troy Billups. Sgt. Tarick Fuller worked hard to achieve the American dream and joined the Army after 9/11 to serve and protect our great country. Please tell Sergeant Fuller that there are still people who appreciate his sacrifices, his duty to country and his willingness to work for a better life for him and his pregnant wife.

ROCK OF AGES
I'm so very happy that Billy Joel has finally found happiness over 50. And like many men over 50, he found this by marrying someone less than half his age. I'm sure they have enough in common to hold this beautiful marriage together until spring break.

Only "big boobs" would want bigger boobs, bamboozled beaks and Botox. Come on, ladies, accept and flaunt whatever you naturally have. That's more than enough for real men.
