TALE OF THE TAPES: PART II
Paris Hilton's first sex video stirred up a bit of a fuss, you might remember, when a snippet of her having sex with ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon turned up on the Internet last year. Now I hear Salomon is preparing to release a two-part DVD of their sexcapades shot several years ago. A source tells me the footage, culled from 13 hours of tape, will feature never-before-seen color video of the former couple having sex. What remains undecided is whether or not Salomon will use additional footage he recently bought from undisclosed sources. And unlike One Night in Paris, the previous video he sold for about $50 a copy, the heiress won't receive any money from the DVD. Asked last weekend if she and Salomon are still in touch, Hilton said, "Ewww! I would not talk to him if you paid me a billion dollars. He's disgusting!" A rep for Hilton did not return calls.
GIRLS NIGHT OUT
Get ready for Six and the City. I hear Mariah Carey, Patti LaBelle, Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, Macy Gray and comedienne Mo'Nique are in discussions to star in a new independent feature called Ladies' Night for producer Lee Daniels (Monster's Ball). The story follows a group of Philadelphia women who spend a night on the town discussing sex, weight, careers and, of course, love. Like the inexpensive Monster's Ball, which won an Oscar for Halle Berry, the film's budget will be small—less than $3 million—meaning the women will have no assistants or hairdressers on the set. Not only are they up to the task, sources say that Beyoncé recently inquired about participating in the project as well.
LOVE OF THE GAME
Despite rumors to the contrary, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake remain a strong team. The sporty couple showed up at a friend's birthday party at Hollywood Billiards Oct. 23 and spent the evening, along with about 40 partygoers, crowded around the bar's TV sets rooting for the Boston Red Sox in the opening game against the St. Louis Cardinals. "They were all over each other, kissing and looking very much in love," says a source, adding that Diaz did take a break for some girl talk when her Charlie's Angels costar Lucy Liu showed up. After the game, Timberlake and Diaz stuck around to sing "Happy Birthday" as the cake came out, then split for the valet stand where they snuggled together waiting for Timberlake's car.
THE GOODBYE GIRL
Love was in the air as Rebecca Romijn gave Crossing Jordan's Jerry O'Connell a kiss before flying out of LAX Oct. 24 to return to Vancouver, where she's filming Man About Town with Ben Affleck. The couple, who costar in The Alibi (due next year), have been dating for several months.
