Emily & Sarah Kunstler
AT THE BIG ROCK

They were toddlers when they first posed on the rock at their upstate New York summer home." We've missed a year here and there," says Margaret Ratner, who hatched the idea with her husband, the late radical defense lawyer William Kunstler. "But we are still doing it, believe it or not." Sarah, 26, a recent law school graduate and documentary producer with Emily, 28, remembers chafing at some sittings but cherishes the memories now: "How many people are fortunate enough to have a photographer documenting their changes and creating this kind of portrait?"

Jessie & J.T. Della Femina
IN THE PUMPKIN PATCH

At an upstate New York farm stand with newborn Jessie, TV personality Judy Licht and ad exec Jerry Della Femina thought, "Everybody has Christmas pictures," Licht recalls. "Let's do something different." J.T. got in on the act three years later.

IN DAD'S SORTS

On her sons' birthdays, Dallas mom Kathy Schneider snaps Corey (right) and older brother Gary in dad Steve's swim trunks. "I put the photos in their baby book," she says.
