Actress Laura Dern, 37, gave birth to a daughter Nov. 28 in L.A. Dern and her fiance, musician Ben Harper, 35, also have a 3-year-old son, Ellery British musician Phil Collins, 53, and his wife of five years, Orianne, 31, welcomed son Mathew on Dec. 1 in Geneva. He joins brother Nicholas, 3. Collins also has three other children from two previous marriages...Country singer Trace Adkins, 42, and his wife, Rhonda, 40, welcomed daughter Trinity Lee Dec. 3 in Nashville. She joins big sisters Mackenzie, 6, and Brianna, 3. Adkins also has two teenage daughters from a previous marriage.

Misty May, 27, who won a gold medal for beach volleyball at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, married Florida Marlins catcher Matt Treanor, 28, Nov. 13 in Orange, Calif. The newlyweds honeymooned in Fiji.
IN TREATMENT
Actor Jerry Orbach, 69, revealed that he has been undergoing treatment for prostate cancer since the spring. "We expect he'll be fine," said the actor's agent. Orbach recently left NBC's Law & Order to star in the spinoff Law & Order: Trial by Jury, which debuts next year...Mary Travers, 67, part of the popular folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary, has been undergoing chemotherapy to battle leukemia. Her rep says the singer is doing well and looks forward to touring with the group again.
TROUBLE
Actor Taye Diggs and his wife of nearly two years, actress Idina Menzel, revealed that they have received letters criticizing the couple's interracial marriage. Diggs, 33, stars in UPN's Kevin Hill; Menzel, 33, won a Tony Award for her current role in Broadway's Wicked. A rep for Menzel had no comment.
UPDATE
NBC Sports chairman Dick Ebersol, 57, and his son Charlie, 21, left a Grand Junction, Colo., hospital Dec. 6, a week after they were injured in a plane crash that killed three people, including Ebersol's son Teddy, 14 (People, Dec. 13,2004). According to an NBC statement, the pair were continuing to recuperate. ... On Dec. 6 the murder trial of actor Robert Blake was postponed for two weeks after his lawyer, Gerald Schwartzbach, reported that his computer was stolen from his L.A. apartment. Blake, 71, has pleaded not guilty to the 2001 shooting death of his wife, Bonny Bakley, 44 (People, May 6,2002).
ARRESTED
Country singer Lynn Anderson, 57, who won a Grammy for 1970's "Rose Garden," was charged with DWI Dec. 2 after police in Denton, Texas, found her passed out in her car on the side of a highway. She was released on $1,000 bail. Anderson's manager said, "She's embarrassed."
