Access Hollywood co-anchor Nancy O'Dell, 38, recently became engaged to business executive Keith Zubchevich, 35. This will be the second marriage for both. The couple, who have dated for nine months, have not yet set a wedding date.
Fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, 46, and her husband, writer Bill Powers, 37, welcomed their first child, Gigi Clementine Powers, on Jan. 28 in New York City.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Eila Williams, 42, filed for divorce Jan. 25 from her husband of six years, actor Barry Williams (The Brady Bunch), 50. The couple's son, Brandon Eric, is 2.
An Australian judge granted actress Nicole Kidman, 37, a restraining order against two photographers after Kidman's bodyguards discovered a wiretapping device near her home in Sydney. Jamie Fawcett, 43, and Ben McDonald, 32, were ordered not to go within 60 feet of the actress's house. "She is grateful that the court order was granted," a rep for Kidman said in a statement. The photographers could not be reached for comment.... On Jan. 26 in Memphis, the district attorney said an indictment against Anthony Anderson (Barbershop), 34, would not be pursued. In October a judge dismissed charges against the actor, who was accused of attacking a 25-year-old extra on the film set of Hustle & Flow. She claimed that the actor sexually assaulted her in a dressing-room trailer. Said a rep for Anderson: "Any time we can get the word out that he was falsely accused, I am happy."
Country singer Lynn Anderson, 57, who won a Grammy for her 1970 hit "Rose Garden," was arrested Jan. 24 for allegedly shoplifting a Harry Potter DVD at a store in Taos, N.Mex. She was released without bail. In a statement Anderson said, "I take full responsibility for my actions. I have a problem dealing with alcohol."
On Jan. 28 in L.A., makeup artist Kylie Bell, 36, filed a $25 million lawsuit claiming that rapper Snoop Dogg and four of his associates sexually assaulted her after a taping of The Jimmy Kimmel Show in 2003. Bell alleges she was drugged prior to the assault. Snoop, 34, filed a preemptive suit last month charging that Bell was trying to extort money from him. The musician's rep said, "It is unfortunate that Ms. Bell has chosen to follow the increasingly common path of misusing the legal system."
Musician Jim Capaldi, 60, who cofounded the group Traffic in 1967, died of stomach cancer in London Jan. 28. The band, whose hit albums include The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in '04.
