PARTY GIRLS
The Hilton empire continues to expand, and Nicky Hilton did her bit by launching a new clothing line, Chick, with a blowout at a New York City hot spot March 30. Lindsay Lohan may have been the biggest celeb to turn up, but that didn't keep Hilton and a mob of friends from partying with a bevy of models on the dance floor. Lohan, looking as thin as any of the catwalkers these days, seems to have found a friend in model May Anderson. This is the second week in a row the two have hung out together at a Manhattan club. An admirer of Lindsay's acting and singing career, Anderson whispered to me at 49 Grove earlier in the week, "She's young but she's great. She could be the next J.Lo."

BRAFF SCRUBS IN
On March 28 Scrubs star Zach Braff, who also wrote and directed the indie film Garden State, shot a video for Gavin DeGraw's new single "Chariot," for which the actor recruited Scrubs cast-mate Donald Faison (as a rapper) and Jaime King (as a sexy record executive). Adding to the wattage, Rene Russo, Dennis Quaid and Susan Sarandon—who all happened to be filming nearby—stopped by the shoot to say hello. But the party really started the night before, when Braff and DeGraw ate dinner at The Blvd., the new restaurant at the Regent Beverly Wilshire. DeGraw just couldn't keep himself away from the piano, giving lucky diners an impromptu hour-long concert that included his big hit "I Don't Wanna Be."

PAM GETS SERIOUS
After two years of playing full-time mom to her two sons (with her ex, rocker Tommy Lee), Pamela Anderson is going back to work—as a serious actress. "I'd never rehearsed anything in my life. I'd never tried to be a real actress," says Anderson, 37, who will costar with Christopher Lloyd and Marissa Jaret Winokur in the FOX sitcom Stacked, starting April 13. "I'm always just kind of winking at the camera." Still, Anderson made sure the producers knew her priorities before taking the gig: "They have the Little League schedule and they work around my kids—so ifs a dream job for me."

PARTY HOPPING
NA, N.Y.C. March 31 Queen Latifah shows up Thursday night at the hot spot, where she winds up partying with Alexandra Richards and Damon Dash. Former Yankee (now Red Sox) pitcher David Wells sends the Queen a bottle of champagne to celebrate her movie Beauty Shop, and she sends him a bottle of Cristal to wish him luck for his season.... MANSION, MIAMI BEACH April 2 Jay-Z salsa dances with his sweetie Beyoncé in the VIP section, where the couple hang with Kelly Rowland and Serena Williams until nearly 3 a.m.... SHELTER, WEST HOLLYWOOD April 2 American Idol's Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest encourage Randy Jackson's mock flirtation with a waitress while Leo DiCaprio stops to say hello to Paris and Nicky Hilton at a nearby table. Meanwhile, following a long conversation with David Spade, Teri Hatcher pays her bill—adding $100 to the already included 20 percent tip.
