Whether at their ranch in Medina, Texas, or the Spanish-style f spread in L.A. where Emily Robison, 32, lives with her singer-songwriter husband, Charlie, 40, and their 2-year-old son Charles "Gus" Augustus, the Dixie Chick is grooving to a new sound: less torch and twang and more waaah and waaah, courtesy of Julianna Tex and Henry Benjamin. The fraternal twins were born on April 14, and according to the Dixie Chicks' Web site, "Babies and Mom are doing very well." So are fellow Chicks Natalie Maines and Martie Maguire, Robison's older sister. After taking time off to focus on their families, the trio have been busy recording their next album but will surely fit in time for another shared interest: toddlers. With Maines's two children (ages 4 years and 9 months) and Maguire's 1-year-old twins, the women preside over a joint brood of seven. A lucky number indeed.
