Kendra Bentley, 26, and Freddy Holliday, 35, professional models and the winners of the sixth season of The Amazing Race, tied the knot May 27 before 105 guests at an orchid-themed sunset ceremony in Bal Harbour, Fla. "We're a match made in heaven," says the bride, who designed her silk charmeuse gown. After the wedding, the pair hopped on a bicycle and rode off into the sunset. The Miami-based couple will honeymoon in Bali.

Singer Stevie Wonder, 55, and his wife Kai Milla welcomed a baby boy May 13. The new tot shares Dad's birthday. The couple have another son, named Kailand.

On May 23 a fire destroyed the inside of actress Ashley Judd's bus on the set of her new film Come Early Morning near Jacksonville, Ark. No one was hurt in the blaze, which authorities suspect was accidentally sparked by a candle. Judd, 37, was on the set at the time. A rep for the star had no comment.

On May 27 in Mineola, N.Y., Michael Lohan, 45, the father of actress Lindsay Lohan, 18, was sentenced to more than a year in jail for assaulting his brother-in-law at a family party last May and driving into a telephone pole while under the influence of alcohol in February. "He was under a lot of stress and no one's looking to excuse him, least of all Michael," said his lawyer. During sentencing, the judge refused to sign a restraining order requested by his estranged wife, Dina, 42, barring Michael from contacting their famous daughter.

On May 31 in Manhattan, actor Christian Slater, 35, was arrested on charges of forcible touching and sexual abuse for allegedly grabbing a woman's backside on a New York City street. According to prosecutors, Slater, who was arrested after the woman contacted police, told the officer, "I didn't do anything. I'm suing you and the police department." Slater's rep said, "We believe this situation is the result of a misunderstanding." He was released without bail and is due back in court on July 14.

On May 18 in L.A., actor Burt Reynolds (The Longest Yard) reached a confidential palimony settlement with his ex-girlfriend Pamela Seals, 49. Seals, who began dating the actor in 1993, filed a lawsuit after their breakup last year, claiming Reynolds reneged on a promise to buy her a $500,000 condo. A rep for Reynolds had no comment.

Indian-born film producer Ismail Merchant, 68, who along with his longtime collaborator, director James Ivory, created some of the most critically acclaimed period films of the '80s and '90s, died in London May 24 of a hemorrhage related to a stomach ulcer. Merchant and Ivory's films were nominated for dozens of Oscars, including eight nods for 1986's A Room with a View and nine nominations for 1992's Howards End. Merchant had been working on the film The White Countess, starring Ralph Fiennes and Natasha Richardson.
