MAD ABOUT LETOURNEAU
Shame on PEOPLE for giving adulterous child predator Mary Kay Letourneau the opportunity to display her wedding in your magazine. As a former sixth-grade teacher, I'm outraged. How dare a teacher, who selfishly abandons her four children and rapes 12-year-old Vili Fualaau, get as much press as she has. The only refreshing aspect of the article was that her own mother and four of her five siblings didn't attend the ceremony. At least her family has a clue.

Thanks so much for your feature about African-American children being adopted by European and Canadian families. Why many individuals are so intent on adopting blue-eyed blond children is beyond me. I hope the United States reconsiders its efforts to change the regulations. For some of us, it's the only chance we have to become parents.
