Irish actor Colin Farrell (Daredevil), 27, and model Kim Bordenave, 33, welcomed their first child, a son, on Sept. 12 in L.A. Farrell, who is in Morocco shooting the upcoming epic Alexander, wasn't present for the birth, but a rep for the star said he "is thrilled."

"He was doing a kung fu maneuver and he got hit with the staff that he uses," said Roth's rep. "He was doing a very fast, complicated, 15th-century samurai movement." Roth called off seven upcoming tour dates because of the injury.
R&B singer Sisqó, 27, was arrested on Sept. 13 in Randallstown, Md., for allegedly shooting at a car from the front porch of his home. Sisqó, whose real name is Mark Andrews, was charged with assault, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest. The singer had no comment.
Actor Gordon Jump, 71, who played Arthur Carlson on the sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati from 1978 to 1982, died of complications from pulmonary fibrosis on Sept. 22 in Southern California. But Jump was perhaps best known for portraying the lonely Maytag repairman in TV ads that ran from 1989 to 2003....
Actor and musician Sheb Wooley, 82, who appeared in many Westerns including 1952's High Noon, died of leukemia on Sept. 16 in Nashville. Wooley also had a pop hit with 1958's "The Purple People Eater."
