Clay Walker

Walker, who has battled multiple sclerosis for seven years, understandably questions the unfairness of the universe on the deliberately paced title song. He also contemplates his own afterlife on "Heaven Leave the Light On" and looks to identify with Christ on "Jesus Was a Country Boy." None of this is exactly boot-scootin' material. But Walker, 34, relieves the mood with the rascally "When She's Good She's Good" and the agreeable insomniac lament "I Can't Sleep." Ultimately, though, the singer ponders a bit too much for his own good.
