THE FORE FRONT
Forget Michael Weatherly. And Paul Walker. The newest angel in Jessica Alba's life isn't even an actor. He's. PGA Tour player Sergio Garcia. Thanks to a mutual acquaintance, the two met in Sin City, where he was playing the Las Vegas Invitational, held Oct. 8-12, and she was vacationing with her family. They caught Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity and hung out by the pool at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Now Alba is off to the Cayman Islands for a month to prep for her role in Into the Blue. The 22-year-old actress, who'll guest-star in an upcoming episode of UPN's Rock Me Baby, doesn't know when they'll next see each other. But Garcia's already made a lasting impression on her golfing dad. Says Alba: "He was real happy with Sergio."

NINE LIVE
When Carmen Electra marries rocker Dave Navarro next month, they will drink officiant Laura Bushnell's Love Potion No. 9 "to bind them to eternity." She created the drink—made from honey, pomegranate juice, rose petals and other ingredients—on 9/9/99 (in numerology, Bushnell says, nine signifies the readiness for a mature relationship).

TICKET MASTER
The jury on Runaway Jury was out quite a lot, thanks to John Cusack, who took his fellow "jurors" and other castmates—including Dustin Hoffman and Jeremy Piven—on plenty of field trips while filming the drama in New Orleans last year. Cusack scored seats to a Hornets NBA game when Michael Jordan's Wizards were in town and a luxury suite for a Saints-Atlanta Falcons NFL game. And the actor didn't stop at handing out free tickets either. Cusack forked over his own money to buy everyone tickets to an Aerosmith concert and even arranged for an alligator swamp tour. But some castmates drew the line at going out to watch Hurricane Lili come ashore. Says actor Guy Torry: "We told him, 'You're on your own with this one.' "

SPLIT DECISION
On ABC's I'm With Her, Teri Polo plays a movie star who's married to a normal guy. Though the show was co-created by sitcom writer Chris Henchy and is loosely based on his marriage to Brooke Shields, the premise is not unlike Polo's life—or at least it was. The actress, who shot to fame with 2000's Meet the Parents, and her husband, photographer Tony Moore, have called it quits after six years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences." A source close to the actress says that the couple, who have a 14-month-old son, Griffin, "remain friends."
