Magician David Blaine has nothing on Elizabeth Hurley. At London's Fashion Rocks benefit for the Prince's Trust, a charity for disadvantaged youth, the 38-year-old actress-model repeatedly vanished and reappeared, wearing 19 different gowns during the 3½ hour event, which is expected to raise $1.2 million.
On stage, cohosts Hurley and Denis Leary introduced a series of 17 extravagant fashion shows featuring the likes of Naomi Campbell
as well as live performances: Andrea Bocelli sang as models strutted Ralph Lauren's stuff; Sheryl Crow
provided the sound-track for Tommy Hilfiger. Hurley upstaged them all by single-handedly donning most of the designers on the bill. And—as if by magic—she did it without mussing not a few hairdos.
