During a week of carousing in Sydney, Harry bought rounds of $10 iced tea cocktails (rum, gin, vodka, tequila and Coke) for his mates, bashed bongos in a bar while singing rugby anthems and regularly stayed out puffing on cigarettes until 4 a.m. at local pubs.
WISH YOU WERE HERE
At the Rugby World Cup semifinal between England and France, scene-stealer Harry filmed the crowd and sent a message home. Six days later England took the cup with a 20-17 win over Australia. "I shall never forget [it]," said Harry.
After celebrating his country's rugby win into the wee hours, the mud-spattered prince (with pal Tom Morley) powered the Young England polo team to a 6-4 victory over Young Australia.
LONE RANCHER The 40,000-acre ranch Harry (with horse Guardsman) has called home for two months is 90 miles from the nearest town—but only 30 from the nearest pub, where he once stopped for some beers and a short stint in the throne room. Says the publican's daughter Megan McEwan, 17: "It was quite a revelation to see a royal use the toilet!"
