Pulling the ol' psychologist switcheroo in his latest EZ-read mystery, Kellerman gives popular doc Alex Delaware the day off and introduces a new one, Jeremy Carrier. This guy has a knack for getting into women's heads and women's beds. But along with the lovely ladies comes a lady-killer, a Jack the Ripper-esque nasty who matches wits with Carrier and an odd club of retired intellectuals.
Kellerman's writing can sound downright silly, but he keeps the creepiness coming until the big-twist finish. At the very least, this will hold Delaware die-hards until they can get back to their preferred doc's couch.
