This cover says it all. It shows the anguish and the pain Martha Stewart has suffered, yet there is strength there too. My hope is she will maintain this strength, and I wish her success in her appeal.
Martha's conviction is a travesty of justice. She hurt no one. These prosecutors couldn't stand a successful woman, and apparently the jury could not either. To those who crucified her, what goes around comes around.
One lapse of good judgment should not overshadow a lifetime of unprecedented accomplishments through dedication. Martha Stewart is the American dream personified.
When she gets out of the slammer, I hope Martha brushes herself off, writes a book about it, privatizes her company and begins afresh. I don't give a damn what she did, I need her sense of beauty and style around me.

So Martha Stewart's family is "disheartened by the glee that so many people seem to have watching this happen." Are they kidding? Why weren't they disheartened when she lied and thought she could get away with it? When all is said and done, no one needs to worry about Martha. She'll still have her millions, her arrogance and be just fine.
This verdict is what high and mighty people get for acting so untouchable by real life.

Martha epitomizes the greedy I-can-get-away-with-anything persona that plagues so many in corporate America. As a former stockbroker, she surely must have realized that her sale of ImClone stock was shady at best.
Tell the truth, Martha. All anyone wanted to hear was "I'm sorry." Unfortunately, you clung to your perfectionist, do-no-wrong attitude. I find it ironic that the same traits that made Martha successful are the very
ones which have led to her downfall.

I wish you all the luck in the world, Martha, because, honey, you're gonna need it where you're going.

There are those out here rooting for you, Martha Stewart. I've been an avid follower for many years. I hope you'll be back to inspire the cook and creative genius in all of US.

You must have read my mind. After thoroughly enjoying Clay Aiken and Kelly Clarkson's recent appearance in Tampa, I felt their tour was worthy of coverage in People. Thanks for your fun, behind-the-scenes look at these performers. It was a real treat to see them teamed up doing what they love to do. Rock on, Clay and Kelly!
BEAUTY AT WHAT PRICE?
I just completed reading your informative and tragic article "Dying to Look Good." This is one of the best-written features on this subject not in a medical journal. We live in a magnificent time where amazing procedures are available. It's not wrong to utilize them, but take the time to investigate before jumping in with both feet.

Mel Gibson chose the right one to play Jesus in The Passion of the Christ. Jim Caviezel gives a riveting portrayal, but the way he lives his faith in daily life is much more powerful. As a fellow Catholic, he's a true role model.
When 2,008 of your employees need the assistance of combat-stress units, 645 need relocation for mental health reasons and at least 31 have taken their own lives, it's time to reassess your working conditions. While the geographical locations of soldiers deployed to Iraq cannot be negotiated, the length of their deployment should be. My heart goes out to all military personnel for their safe return home.
