Imagine a coed version of America's Next Top Model. Now add rough stuff, and you've got this standard talent search, which launches June 14 before moving to its regular Tuesdays-at-8 slot the next night. In the opener, hopefuls from across the United States try out for the chance to costar in an NBC action movie. Fourteen finalists then live together in a mansion—as required by reality-show law—and get lessons in fighting, fast driving and, oh yeah, acting. Finally, we'll see one male and one female winner perform in the actual film Aug. 11.
The audition episode is good for a few laughs, as each aspirant crashes through a fake door, strikes menacing poses and tries to talk tough. But there's familiar in-the-house conflict down the road, with one of the women ever so obviously playing the raging-diva role.
