"Our guests expect perfection, and that's what we provide," says the owner (James Remar) of the Grand Waimea Hotel in Hawaii. If your expectations run toward the slick and trite, you'll be satisfied by this series' June 14 premiere.

The exclusive hotel's general manager (Kristoffer Polaha, who played JFK Jr. in last year's America's Prince), goes slack-jawed when he sees that his beautiful ex-flame (former Dog Eat Dog host Brooke Burns) has been hired as the new director of guest relations. The lifeguard (Corey Sevier) looks similarly stunned when a 15-year-old temptress drops her top to pique his interest. Soon, Polaha does his bit for guest relations by allowing a hot blonde tennis star to hit on him. The dialogue is canned ("What's it like working in paradise?"), the sex lacks tropical heat and I'm ready for express checkout.
