Heidi Newfield, 33, the lead singer for the country band Trick Pony, and Bill Johnson, 39, a partner in a sports agency, wed on the beach in Destin, Fla., June 6. More than 200 guests attended the festivities, including country singer Billy Dean, who wrote and performed a song for the couple....

Actress Molly Shannon, 39, and artist Fritz Chesnut, 31, wed May 29 in Santa Barbara, Calif. The couple have an 8-month-old daughter, Stella. Wedding guests included Shannon's fellow Saturday Night Live alums Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon and Kevin Nealon, as well as Will & Grace's Megan Mullally.

ARRESTED
Former star David Hasselhoff, 51, was arrested for drunk driving after police pulled him over on L.A.'s Ventura Boulevard June 5. The actor, who had checked himself into the Betty Ford Center for treatment of alcoholism in 2001, was released the next morning. A rep for Hasselhoff did not return calls for comment....

Former child actor Brian Bonsall, who played the youngest son, Andrew Keaton, on the popular '80s sitcom Family Ties, was arrested for drunk driving May 28 in Boulder, Colo. Bonsall, 22, had his license revoked in 2001 due to an alcohol-related offense. A rep for Bonsall could not be reached for comment.

TROUBLE
Michael Lohan, the father of teen actress Lindsay Lohan, was charged with second-degree assault June 3 in Hempstead, N.Y. The elder Lohan, 44, allegedly hit his brother-in-law across the head with a shoe several days earlier at a party held at the Lohans' Long Island home. (Lindsay wasn't at the house at the time.) Michael Lohan says his brother-in-law was drunk and initiated the fight.

UPDATE
On June 7 a New York City judge postponed Martha Stewart's sentencing hearing for three weeks while she considers if Stewart, 62, should get a new trial after a government witness was accused of lying. On March 5 Stewart was convicted of four felonies, including conspiracy and perjury (PEOPLE, March 22,2004). The sentencing is now set for July 8.

DEATHS
Princess Diana's mother, Frances Shand Kydd, 68, died after a long illness June 3 on Seil Island, Scotland. Although Diana and her mother had a turbulent relationship, Shand Kydd wrote thousands of handwritten replies to the sympathy letters she received after Diana's death. In a statement, Prince William said that he and Prince Harry were "very upset."...

Archibald Cox, 92, the Watergate prosecutor who was fired by President Nixon in 1973 after Cox insisted Nixon turn over secret tapes, died of natural causes May 29 in Brooksville, Maine.
