The BMG chairman visited the American Idol champ and Grammy winner backstage at the sold-out opening night of her tour at New York's Beacon Theater Sunday. The fall road trip marked Clarkson's return to the stage after a bumpy summer that included the cancellation of her first tour, and her war of words with Davis. Clarkson's tour, meanwhile, will continue through 25 cities, including Los Angeles, Dallas, Boston and Nashville.
