By now, Angelina Jolie is a familiar sight to the politicians, CEOs and policy wonks who flock to the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. But this year, she brought someone new along—Brad Pitt, who caused a stir when he attended a Jan. 27 forum on human rights where Jolie spoke. Also turning heads: her growing tummy and the couple's first-ever PDA. (They held hands.) "They were glowing," says an observer. "It was tasteful. They were there for the right reasons—I got the sense that they really wanted to make a difference."

The agenda was lighter on the first leg of their European trip: On Jan. 24, Pitt, 42, joined pals Madonna and Guy Ritchie and chef Jamie Oliver at Italian eatery Locanda Locatelli in London's chic Mayfair district. But Jolie, 30, passed—Pitt said she wasn't feeling well and had stayed at the hotel.

Returning from Davos on Jan. 28, the couple "looked tired," says a source. But they rallied for a quick visit to London's Natural History Museum with Zahara, 1, and dino-crazed Maddox, 4, before hopping a private plane to Berlin. There, the family—minus Zahara—took in the 3-D IMAX film Galapagos before crashing back at their hotel for—finally—some sleep.
