Violet, orange, blue, yellow, red carpet—celebs are thinking inside the (crayon) box when it comes to dressing up for spring

KRISTIN DAVIS in Alessandro Dell'Acqua at an L.A. film premiere.
JAMIE-LYNN SIGLER in Donna Karan at a party in Las Vegas.
She masquerades as a boy in She's the Man, but at the film's L.A. premiere Amanda Bynes was all girl in a flirty, sparkly Missoni frock.
Behind the Seams
CULT STATUS: Blue Cult jeans had such a celeb following that they renamed one design after frequent wearer Gwyneth Paltrow. Now the brand has gotten even more exclusive. Elite, their luxury denim line, just hit stores but has already found true believers in Mischa Barton, Jessica Alba and Molly Sims, who are willing to spend up to $250 a pair for a three-piece waistband that helps jeans fit snugly, and torqued pockets that shape derrieres....
Elite by Blue Cult jeans in blue, $220, and gray, $250; at Madison, 323-651-3662.
STRIP, PLEASE: Bioré and The Sopranos' Jamie-Lynn Sigler want viewers to strip and shop during Sunday night shows—without ever leaving the couch. Doing the "Sunday Night Strip" involves wearing a Bioré Pore Strip while watching, then going online to bid on items signed by Sunday night stars, including scrubs inked by the cast of Grey's Anatomy. Proceeds from the auction, which ends March 26, go to benefit the Jamie-Lynn Sigler Foundation, which fights eating disorders....
SCENT CONTROL: Mix and match is meeting scratch and sniff, thanks to Sonia Kashuk. The makeup artist created three palettes filled with solid perfume powders that break the fragrance down into its top, middle and base notes so you can layer them in custom combinations. Kashuk has already given clients Cindy Crawford and Téa Leoni sets; now the rest of us can pick one up at Target, where it just hit stores....
Sonia's Solid Fragrance Palette in Citron and Pink Mandarin, $29.99; Target stores, 800-800-8800.
TWO FOR THE LOHAN: Singing or acting? Red, blonde, brunette? Lindsay Lohan can't pick one career path or hair color; why should she settle on a single fragrance? At Jill Stuart's SoHo boutique she couldn't decide between the designers' three new scents, so she bought both Jasmin Fleur and Vanilla Lust.
Jill Stuart Fine Fragrance Collection in Jasmin Fleur and Vanilla Lust, $62; at Jill Stuart, 212-343-2300.
SPOTLIGHT ON Cadeau
WHAT: Haute, hip maternity wear.
WHO WEARS IT: Katie Holmes, Angelina Jolie, Christy Turlington, stylesetters who are expecting—and a few who aren't.
Secret agent Sydney Bristow had a tricky task. Her mission? To look chic while pregnant. Her weapon? Cadeau. "She could not have survived the pregnancy without their clothing," says stylist Laura Goldsmith of Alias star Jennifer Garner, whom she dressed in Cadeau both onscreen and off. "It's cut well—it's like regular clothes turned into maternity." Which is just what creator Emilia Fabricant had in mind. "In maternity I felt I could make a difference," says Fabricant, who, as a former buyer and designer for Barneys New York, spent "three pregnancies being at fashion shows with nothing to wear." Next up, Fabricant is planning a baby line, Petite Cadeau, and lingerie and swimwear for moms-to-be, so that style never has to take maternity leave.

Daddy's Little Angel
Matilda, the daughter of Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams, is less than 6 months old and already has her own stylist—her dad, who recently handpicked a mini-wardrobe for her from Angelic Genius, a line of hip baby clothes. The togs feature designs like butterflies and angel wings or witty sayings, including "J'adore Milk" and "I Enjoy Cereal." No plans yet for an "I Wish I Could Quit Juice" onesie.

Angelina Carries On
If star moms ever start a playgroup, they'll need to take care not to walk off with each other's diaper bag. Kate Winslet and Gwyneth Paltrow have Storksaks, and Angelina Jolie has been lugging hers all over Paris. It comes with a bottle holder, changing mat and detachable mirror. So Maddox can check his hairstyle?
HALLE BERRY SHOPS CLUB MONACO
She's in New York to film the upcoming thriller Perfect Stranger, but in her off hours Halle Berry seems to be playing the princess of Monaco. Club Monaco, that is. Showing a knack for perfect timing, Berry walked into the store just after the new spring line was unpacked and picked up nine items all under $100 each, proving that the early Berry gets the bargains.

Bag of the Week DIOR'S GAUCHO
Celebs saddled up to Christian Dior's Gaucho bag. Its equestrian detailing looks rugged but isn't cheap; to own one of eight versions, buyers pony up $850-$1,995. Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley own the medium shoulder bag, and the double saddle tote belongs to Penélope Cruz and Gisele Bündchen, proving that sometimes supermodels have saddlebags.
Tod's by Derek Lam
No pressure here: Just design the first ready-to-wear collection for Italian luxury leather-goods giant Tod's. But Derek Lam, who for three years has designed his own signature line, managed to turned out nine casual, high-end pieces —shirts, jackets, dresses and pants—that celebs like Renée Zellweger and Julia Roberts have ordered. At the Beverly Hills launch party for his new line, cosponsored by Vogue and attended by young Hollywood stars like Jessica Alba and Amber Valletta, Lam said his inspiration was the Marlin, a yacht once owned by Jackie and John F. Kennedy (now owned by Tod's group chairman Diego Della Valle). The boat, says Lam, represents an "Anglo-American sportiness that's really about subtle luxury." The Tod's line is a departure from his own more feminine, downtown collection, but Lam, 39, thinks he can bridge the difference. "I'm a dreamer in my own collection. For Tod's, I'm more of an architect."
Charlize Theron and Halle Berry are on the wait-list for this trench.
