Four months after the arrival of her daughter Violet with husband Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner is up to her old tricks as Sydney on Alias. "Jennifer's back in action," says her costar Victor Garber, 57. "She's still recuperating and isn't back to her full stunt potential, but she can certainly do more than when she was pregnant." The new mom, he says, is "happier than she's ever been." And the little one? "The kid's adorable." In fact, Garber can think of only one drawback to Garner's new family: "Now Jennifer has less time to hang out with us."
Walk the Line's Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays one of Bill Paxton's three wives in HBO's polygamy drama Big Love, says she got good advice for filming the movie's more revealing moments. "It's something Laura Linney taught me for when you're doing a nude scene," says Goodwin, 27. The technique requires strategically placed Post-Its. "They say things like: 'No way, Jose,'" she explains. "So if the camera accidentally captures my private parts, they will have to edit them out." If only there were an Emmy for Best Use of Office Supplies.
THREE QUESTIONS FOR ... 24's
1 DO YOU GET TIRED OF WEARING JUST ONE OUTFIT PER SEASON AS AUDREY?
It saves me time. If I was in Sex and the City I'd probably have, like, a two-hour wardrobe fitting every week. But I'm doing a pilot now where I'm getting to explore the character through my clothes.
2 YOU'RE DOING A PILOT?
Just because I'm doing a pilot doesn't mean that Audrey dies—or doesn't. You can do two shows—or maybe not!
3 WHAT'S IT LIKE TO KISS KIEFER SUTHERLAND?

Dick Cheney goes hunting: Who's going to take him seriously at the next peace summit?
Hidden talent: I see colors and auras around people, so I know how to deal with them.
Embarrassing moment: I was performing in Boston, and my opening joke was about Ray Charles. No one told me that a school for the blind was in the front three rows.
