I was watching the Puerto Rican Day Parade on TV and my ex called and said, "Why are your people so loud?" I said, "Because we're proud." I hung up on him, called my agent and said, "This is what I want to do."
ANY THOUGHTS ON THE IMMIGRATION DEBATE?
It's ironic—immigrant labor is what has maintained our status as a world power. I'm proud of Latin people who are taking to the streets.
