"I've been here several times [before], Chapman, 54, said somberly, "tonight it felt like I was coming to the electric chair." (See CNN.com's video.)
Chapman, who spoke out on FOX News' Hannity & Colmes one night earlier, said, "I need to get a greater vocabulary than what I have and when I get mad and my brain searches for a word. I have to find different words and to do that you need to have more of an education," explained Chapman, who revealed that he only made it through 7th grade.
The "Bounty Hunter," whose eponymous show on A&E has had production suspended, winced as King played the tape. "Every country, every station [has this]. I'm getting flogged."
"I'm in the judgment seat now" he said about whether his show will be back. "It's up to America."
